The Family Resource Coalition,Inc Disaster Preparation Website Hurricane Andrew from the air

Florida is an idyllic place to live... our serene beaches, expansive horizons, and exciting tourist attractions make this one of the most desired places to be in the world. Yet Florida can also be a very dangerous environment when storms clouds threaten, hurricanes brew, tornados form, or dangerous lightning flashes....

This Online Post Disaster Resource Guide was designed by The Family Resource Coalition, Inc, for Florida families having children and youth with special health care needs in mind. When storms threaten, families with children requiring special care and treatment have an ever more complex planning routine to provide for their childs ongoing needs.
Use the pages inside this special website section to help you to better plan and prepare for both before AND after a storm or disaster event in our beautiful state. Use the contact link if you have suggestions, requests, or additional needs.
