
Just like the fellow in the picture above, every youth eventually comes to a place where you must make some decisions about your short and long term future, and how you would like to begin a career or some type of work. It is a time for tough decisions, and adult thinking.
There are some starting steps to use is looking at the work force, and deciding what you would like to do for work. As a help, here is a quick explanation of where the links will take you. BEING REALISTIC will help you to see what type of work you believe you can do and could become qualified to do. WRITING A RESUME will supply some tips to writing a successful work history and explaining the type of work you want to do. APPLYING FOR JOBS will help you to find places where you can apply for work by using the information from your resume. BEING IN THE WORK FORCE will talk about how to behave on the job, being on time and good and bad ways to communicate with co-workers and your supervisors.
